Communique
In Biel on the weekend of May 15 & 16 the second Anarchist Bookfair in Switzerland took place. It was attended by about 30 publishers, distributors and organizations from Germany, France and Switzerland with a whole bunch of anti-capitalist and anti-authoritarian literature.
The high number of 500 visitors proves that there's a need of such literature just in the time of an intensification of the class barriers. Also the collateral readings and lectures were well visited by the audience. As far as the "more relaxed" part of the event is concerned - a poetry slam with subsequent hip-hop happening on Friday and a folk and rock concert on Saturday - we can't complain about neither the quality nor the interest of the many attendees.
We would like to thank at this point all the contributors and helpers who supported us in making the bookfair a success.
